Daily Prompt: What Is One Of Your Favorite TV Shows & Why?

I'm not sure if this show was discontinued or not, but I used to watch it on Netflix. "The United State Of Tara" is a comedy about a woman/wife/mother who suffers from multiple personality disorder. The show uses comedy to show the viewers what it is like to live with this mental disorder, but at the same time, does not make light of it.

The show depicts the difficulties of Tara's life with multiple personalities, and shows how much of a difficult time her family has due to her illness, as well.

There is comedy, there is romance, triumph and downfalls, and I thoroughly enjoy it all. It is one of the only television programs I am aware of that addresses mental illness in a realistic way, that also draws the viewers in with comedic and romantic aspects.
